She started her music studies at Sociedad Ateneo Musical del Puerto de Valencia and at the same time at “Jose Iturbi” Professional Conservatory in Valencia. She graduated with honors in French horn performance at “Joaquín Rodrigo” Conservatory where she also studied composition.

She was awarded a scholarship from SGAE and Berklee College of Music to study at Boston. She earned a Summa Cum Laude Degree in Music, majoring in Film Scoring and minoring in Orchestral Conducting.

She has been awarded with International Composition Competition “Salvador Seguí” in Montserrat (Spain) for her piano piece Juego de niños, premiered by Leonel Morales, and “Women and Culture” Award in Málaga (Spain) for her orchestral composition Génesis, premiered by Malaga Youth Orchestra. She has received several composition commissions like Flor de Mayo for symphonic band, commissioned by CulturArts Musica to be the required piece at the highest category of the 38^th edition of Certamen de Bandas de Música de la Comunidad Valenciana (2016) which took place at Palau de les Arts in Valencia (Spain), Foundations for tuba and symphonic band, required piece at the Young Artist category of the International Tuba and Euphonium Competition AETyB (2016), premiered by José Santos and la Banda Sinfónica de Músicos Sin Fronteras, conducted by Jose Miguel Micó Castellanos at Palau de la Música in Valencia (Spain).

As an orchestral arranger, se has collaborated with singer Santiago Auseron, former leader of Radio Futura, in his project Vagamundo, premiered with Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ricardo Casero. With this project they have been on tour with several Spanish symphony orchestras like Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, Valencia Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philarmonic Orchestra of Galicia, Oviedo Philharmonia, Córdoba Symphony Orchestra, Murcia Symphony Orchestra and others, and with Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Madrid.

She has also collaborated with flamenco cantaor Rafael de Utrera and Isadora string quartet and she has arranged the album 25 S, The return by trumpet player Sergio Guarné and Reino de Aragon Orchestra. She has also collaborated with other ensembles like Quintet Cuesta or Spanish Brass.

In the media field she has written additional music for feature films like Killer Party, Slice 3, or The Rezort. She has written the soundtrack for shorts like Un café para llevar, and games like Switch and Darkdawn Encounters. She has orchestrated numerous feature films like Misconduct (with actors Al Pacino and Anthony Hopkins), Kidnap (starring Halle Berry), Tom’s Dilemma, Cuerpo de élite, Felices 140, Teresa, Francisco: El Padre Jorge, or El maestro de Altamira, and TV shows like Bajo Sospecha or Carlos: Rey Emperador. She has also recorded with DJ Premier for the documentary Re:Generation.

She has been featured as a conductor on the project Back To The Future with soloists Pepe Lanuza (flute) and David Manso (live electronic set) and Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra. She conducts recording sessions for media projects regularly in Los Angeles and Spain.

She is committed to present Spanish nationalism repertory featuring the horn to the world with her project Spanish Horn in halls like Berklee Performance Center in Boston or as a Contributing Artist at the 47^th International Horn Symposium at Mayman Hall in Los Angeles along with California String Quartet. She has been a member of orchestras like American Youth Symphony, Young Musicians Foundation, Video Game Orchestra, Orquesta Filarmónica de la Universidad de Valencia or Joven Orquesta de la Generalitat Valenciana, performing at auditoriums like Boston Symphony Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles or Kennedy Center in Washington DC.

Besides her classical background, Amparo has specialized in jazz and music for media, performing with artists like Wayne Shorter, John Patitucci, Joe Lovano, Terri-Lyne Carrington, Miles Evans or Alan Silvestri, recording several albums and soundtracks like To Hell With You by Bleu, La Orquesta del Titanic by Joan Manuel Serrat and Joaquín Sabina and Providencia with pianist Danilo Pérez, album nominated to Best Jazz Instrumental at the Grammy Awards.
